Individual Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis
The amount of time we work together is up to you, and treatment plans are created to meet your individual needs. Brief therapy, crisis intervention or longer-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy will be discussed at the initial evaluation.
Crisis Intervention is an immediate and short-term psychological care aimed at assisting individuals in a crisis situation to restore equilibrium to their bio-psychosocial functioning and to minimize the potential for long-term psychological trauma.
Mindful Awareness / Integration
Mindful Awareness is the moment-by-moment process of actively and openly observing one's physical, mental and emotional experiences. Mindful Awareness has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being. Meditation techniques can be used in this process. The goal is to take this daily practice, get some perspective from our old patterns that have kept us stuck, and ultimately give ourselves the emotional space to move forward.
